2007 Events

May Day Parade

May 21, 2007 Another great turnout for Fort Langley's 85th May Day Parade. Held on Victoria Day, St. Andrew's provided concessions and parking. The weather was a bit cool and cloudy but once again a great parade and festive activities helped to brighten spirits on this fun outing.

The 2nd Annual Scottie Awards

February 25, 2007. It was a star-studded affair at the 2nd annual Scottie Awards. It was nice to see all the stars dressed in their 'designer' fashions.

Heritage Week at St. Andrew's

February 24, 2007. Each year, the Heritage Society of British Columbia sets a theme to celebrate Heritage Week. This year’s theme was “Architecture in the Vernacular”.

2006 Events

11th Annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival

Cranberry Tea at St. Andrew's

On Saturday October 7th, St. Andrew's helped celebrate the 11th Annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival with "Cranberry Tea at St. Andrew's". It was a bright sunny day and was a huge success all Dahlia around. Many thanks to all those who participated at the Church and everybody that stopped by and visited. Our Roast Turkey Sandwich lunch was a big hit and our Baking, Preserves and Produce Sale nearly sold out. The Dahlias were stunningly beautiful in the crisp Autumn sun.
10% of the Net Proceeds from this fundraising event will be donated to Ishtar Transition Housing Society. Hope to see you next year!

Fort Langley May Day Parade

May 22, 2006: The 84th Annual Fort Langley May Day Parade was held despite some questionable weather. Many thanks to those who ran the hot dog and refreshments stand at the Parade and Park Activities. Those efforts raised over $1000 for the church. A great success indeed!
