Hinksman
Many years ago Deb read these words: “life is not a
‘having and a getting’ but a ‘being and a becoming’" and
that thought is one of many that has made a profound influence
in her life and in her ministry. In both team and solo
ministries she has felt the call to walk people as they journey
to become all they are meant to be as God’s children. Deb says,
“To know the joy of a relevant faith that can and does transform
cannot simply be spoken of, but must be creatively experienced
both in worship and in the whole community”. For over 25 years
Debra has found herself blessed with congregations in Ontario
and British Columbia that have entered into a mutual journey of
discovering faith and ways to respond in discipleship.
“As I think about the community at St. Andrew’s I realize
again and again how much I value the gift of acceptance. It’s
not that this church is perfect, none is, however – this
congregation is so wonderfully open and accepting of people and
new ideas – that my personal joy is continually refreshed. How
lucky I am!”

Janet Cliff: Office Co-Ordinator
Janet joined St. Andrew’s staff in August 2005. As Church
Administrator, she is responsible for the management of a busy
church office. She handles reception, clerical, secretarial and
bookkeeping duties in keeping with the church's activities,
maintaining church records, and producing the weekly worship
bulletin and Annual Reports. Janet warmly welcomes your
inquiries about the church and its programs.
