ceremony. With seating for 100 guests, our quaint little church
is the perfect setting for that magical moment that will last a
lifetime. We are pleased to assist couples create a
spiritually based wedding ceremony that is personal and

Location
St. Andrew's United Church is located in the Heart of
Historic Fort Langley, British Columbia. We are a 45 minute
drive from downtown Vancouver and only 30 minutes from the Washington
State border. We are an easy drive from anywhere in Metro Vancouver and
the Fraser Valley being located within 5 minutes of Highway 1. We are a
preferred choice for many couples of the Lower Mainland who choose to hold
their Wedding Ceremony at St. Andrew's. For a map and driving

Introduction
 Whether or not couples have been in the routine of attending
church, they tell us that when they find the right partner for
life they feel blessed and thankful to God for this person and
the love they share. The wedding ceremony allows couples to
profess their love and commit themselves to each other in the
presence of One who has blessed them. Family and friends gather
together to confirm this gift with hope and joy. All weddings
held at St. Andrew’s are officiated by our minister.
Wedding services at St. Andrew’s assist couples to express
that gratitude in a way that reflects their sense of
spirituality and their. For this reason we do not perform
“civil” ceremonies” at St. Andrew’s, however, we will be
delighted to work with you to create a service that reflects
your personal faith in God.
Wedding Co-Ordinator
 Kay McComish is the person at the center of weddings here at
St. Andrew’s. She is a warm and experienced Wedding Co-Ordinator
who will assist you to smoothly handle all details of your
wedding at St. Andrew’s from beginning to the ringing of the
bell to announce your marriage.

Wedding/Ceremony Planning Seminars
Our practical seminars will help you organized and
personalize your wedding and will be held several times each
year. This program is open for any couple planning to be
married, not simply for those who are getting married at St.
Andrew’s United. Please call for further information and dates.

Pre-Marriage Education
 St. Andrew’s strongly recommends that you participate in “The
Marriage Project”, a non –denominational pre-marriage course
held at various locations throughout the lower mainland. Check

Décor
With a gifted decorator in our congregation, many brides and
grooms find the floral decorations that we can be provide “in
house” surpass their expectations! When you meet with the
wedding Co-Ordinator, she will show you a full portfolio of
decorations from past weddings at St. Andrew’s. We invite you to
view some of the photos on our website to get an idea of what
can be done.

Wedding Fees
 Total fee: $600.00 Includes Minister, Organist, Wedding
Co-Ordinator,
rehearsal time and Service time.
Deposit: $50.00 Non-Refundable deposit to confirm booking.
Balance: payable at least one month before the day of the
wedding.

Since the launch of our website (April 2006) we have been
trying to keep a photographic record of some of the weddings
that take place at St. Andrew's. With permission from the Bride
and Groom (and their photographer) we have been able to capture
some of the wonderful moments that have taken place at our
Church.

To Our Church Coordinator: You did such a fantastic job
with our huge wedding party, 18 people in our party was a task
for anyone to handle. You pulled it off like it was a piece of
cake. Thank you once again.
To Our Minister: We have received such wonderful comments
on how our ceremony was so emotional and memorable. I would like
to say that the exchange of the gifts to our sons was so
beautiful with the sand ceremony following that. Thank you so
much on how you calmed us both down to be able to fully enjoy
each and every word you spoke.
To Our Organist: He played Flawless. The Braveheart Theme
was so special as my uncle played the bagpipes in the ceremony.

It was the most rustic, intimate ceremony enjoyed by everyone. I
will never forget the look of how amazing the sunlight came
through the stain glass window and gave me a little peace with

church on October 1st, 2005. Our reception was held at the
Bedford House. On many occasions, Dave and I have said that we
wouldn't have changed a thing about our beautiful autumn
wedding. Many of our guests have commented that it was one of
